The acts in the America’s Got Talent 2012 Wild Card round will perform Tuesday night for one final chance to make it through to the semifinals. While some, such as goth singer Andrew De Leon, seem destined to move on barring a major fail, others seem like more of a waste of space on the America’s Got Talent 2012 Wild Card show than anything else.
In making my America’s Got Talent 2012 Wild Card round predictions, I found it rather easy to dismiss fully half of the acts performing Tuesday night. There are quite a few returning acts for the America’s Got Talent 2012 Wild Card show that just seem pointless to waste the time and space of a slot to give them the chance to peform again.
Ranked in this category for me are: Jarret & Raja — literally booed off the stage, Jake Wesley Rogers — absolutely nothing special about this singer, Chris Sandu — a total fail and boring to boot, Todd Oliver & Irving — yawn, and Horse. Seriously, I understand half the males in America for some reason think Horse is vastly entertaining, but if I have to see him rupture his testicles on stage one more time I think I’ll puke.
On the other side of the fence, there are quite a few America’s Got Talent 2012 Wild Card acts ranging from good to almost great to choose from. However, some of them, in my opinion, clearly outshine the others.
While I think the acrobatic team of Bandbaz Brothers are really cool and fun to watch, I just don’t see them working as a full Vegas act with all the trimmings. All That! is an entertaining male clogging group, let’s face it… a male clogging group is not a million dollar act. Ben Blaque is wickedly good at what he does and it is rather thrilling when he points his bow at someone’s head and let’s those arrows fly, but I just think America doesn’t have enough love for him to make it through.
The America’s Got Talent 2012 Wild Card acts I do think have the chops to make it to the semi-finals are very clear to me, although I always am open to admitting I can be wrong. Well, except in the case of goth singer Andrew De Leon. If he doesn’t make it through, I have no faith at all in this show anymore. Yes, he choked up in the last performance, but he is clearly one of the most talented people to be on the America’s Got Talent 2012 stage this year.
The others for my America’s Got Talent 2012 Wild Card predictions to make it through this round are Mariachi singer Sebastien El Charro — because he is too cute, illusionist/escape artist Spencer Horsman — I hope America will forget the one mistake he made that eliminated him, and gymnast/dancer Lindsey Norton. While I don’t think either Lindsey or Sebastien are really million dollar Vegas acts, I think they do deserve spots in the semifinals over the other acts in the America’s Got Talent 2012 Wild Card round.
So there are my America’s Got Talent 2012 Wild Card predictions for who will make it through to the next round after tonight’s performances. Who do you think will be moving on to the semifinals?
