This post contains America’s Got Talent 2012 spoilers from round two of the semifinals. Please do not keep reading if you do not want to know what happened!
The America’s Got Talent 2012 finals airs tonight in a special time slot at 9PM ET/PT. The final AGT 2012 Top 6 will battle it out in their last performances for America. Who will win America’s Got Talent 2012? Well, I’m personally rooting for amazing musician and instrument creator William Close and his Earth Harp, but I fear he just may not be enough of a spectacle to pull off the win.
Interestingly enough, there are no singers in the America’s Got Talent 2012 finals this year, even though a singer has won the competition five out of six seasons previously. Instead, we have William Close, animal act Olate Dogs, comedian Tom Cotter, painters/dancers David Garibaldi and his CMYK’s, sand painter Joe Castillo, and the children’s dance group, The Untouchables.
Who will be the America’s Got Talent 2012 winner? Join us for our AGT 2012 finals recap as we watch the finalists battle it out for the million dollar prize!
This is it, one more performance for the Top 6 America’s Got Talent 2012 finalists before a winner is chosen to take home a million dollars!
The first act on stage tonight for their last performance is David Garibaldi and his CMYK’s. David says he is going to give America something totally different for tonight’s performance and he does! Frankly I just find it astounding and it’s so cool he ends up doing a portrait of Albert Einstein upside down!
Howard Stern thinks it is an outstanding performance and he would like to take the resulting art home and hang it in his house. Sharon Osbourne says the timing was great and the performance was fantastic. Howie Mandell says it was the perfect start to the finals and he thought it was great.
Next up is comedian Tom Cotter and he has been doing this for 25 years. He would love to win so his family can stop living from paycheck to paycheck. He gives perhaps his best performance of the season and the crowd is loving it!
Howie Mandell says Tom clawed his way right to the top this evening. Howard Stern says Tom always leaves him wanting more, unlike some of the other acts. He thinks Tom should win. Sharon says Tom is a very funny guy and is glad he is there with them at the finals.
The kid’s dance group, The Untouchables, hits the stage next and they are really good… for a kid’s dance group. I mean really good, but I just don’t think they are a million dollar act.
Sharon Osbourne, lover of all things children, dogs and cuteness, gives them her own personal standing ovation. She loved it and it was fantastic. Howie Mandell says they are amazing for how old they are, but not sure he loved this routine as much as their previous one. Howard Stern says they did a nice job.
Sand painter Joe Castillo is on the stage now and he is going to do a tribute to the show that has changed his live. He says the sand is now writing his future rather than the stories of his past. Howard Stern thinks the performance is terrific and is happy Joe is in the finals. Howie Mandell says he loves Joe’s inspirational stories and says he has touched his heart. Sharon says she would have preferred that he do something spiritual again. (Or maybe something about dogs or children Sharon? Something cute?)
The next to the last performance of the night belongs to instrument creator/musician Willian Close, who says everything in his life has led up to this moment. He has a symphony of instruments to present to the audience tonight and it is awesome. I just wish I could be there to really hear what it is like live in the room with that sound. The judges give William a standing ovation and Howie says it is the best show he has ever seen. Sharon says William is a visionary. Howard says it was a million dollar performance and I agree.
The last act is my least favorite and yes, go ahead and yell at me because I don’t like the dog act. It’s not personal, it’s just preference. The Olate Dogs take the stage and it is a giddy time because they are the first animal act to make the finals. Sharon Osbourne is fainting with pleasure over the cuteness of the dogs and the love and the happiness and the barf, barf, okay already. Howard says they could win it, they are phenomenal. Howie says he was amazed and says America needs to vote.
